Guggenheim Museum, SVA MA Curatorial Practice (SVA Theatre) Hunter College Art Gallery & Alserkal Avenue in Dubai The acclaimed annual forum for arts professionals, FIELD MEETING is an exhibition that emulates the experience of a studio visit on a large communal scale. It aims to nurture and develop lecture-performance as an important contemporary art medium. The forum has staged the process and activities of over 300 of the world’s top creative minds (artists, curators, philosophers, novelists, scientists, architects, filmmakers, poets etc) through newly commissioned performances, lecture-performances, provocative talks and lively discussions. An exclusive audience of 5000 curators, museum directors, collectors and art connoisseurs has attended 6 iterations of FIELD MEETING. Presented practitioners include: Holland Cotter, Tom Finklepearl, Heman Chong, Nikhil Chopra, Bassem Saad & Edwin Nasr, Marwa Arsanios (Beirut), Laura Barlow, Simon Fujiwara, Taus Makhacheva, Philip Tinari, Hajra Waheed and Brian Kuan Wood (New York) among many others.
