New Video Art, in conjunction with: Afghanistan, Hidden Treasures from the National Museum, Kabul.

A curated selection of recent video works by Afghan and Afghan-American artists, including Mariam Ghani, Roya Ghiasy, and Rahraw Omarzad. Several artists represented in this program are members of the Center for Contemporary Arts Afghanistan (CCAA), an association working to render visible the issues that are buried beneath the many media-manufactured topics currently characterizing Afghanistan. This video program was in conjunction with the exhibition Afghanistan, Hidden Treasures from the National Museum, Kabul, which focused on the arts and crafts of the Ancient era revealing Afghanistan's multicultural heritage.
