Venice Biennale 2005
Ahmady acted as a curatorial advisor to the commissioners of the first official Afghanistan and Central Asia Pavilions at the Venice Biennale. The Central Asia Pavilion, Art from Central Asia: A Contemporary Archive was commissioned by Kurama Art Gallery and curated by Viktor Misiano. As a result of these two critically acclaimed pavilions all of the artists featured have become extraordinarily visible in the international art scene.
